Dear Parents and Friends,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Tim Seal and I have lived in North East Victoria for the majority of my life.
I come to Oxley Primary School having spent the past 4 and a bit years as principal of Currawa Primary School in the Upper Goulburn Region. Previous to this appointment, I was an Acting Leading Teacher at Yarrawonga P-12 College and have had time as a teacher in other schools in North East Victoria, Canberra and a four-year stint working in private education business in South East Asia.
I am passionate about education and helping people in education to be the best that they can be. I believe in fostering strong relationships between school and home in order to help students to get the most out of their time at school. I feel very privileged to have been chosen by the selection panel to be the next principal of Oxley Primary School and can’t wait to get started as your new principal.
My wife Jo and I currently live in Yarrawonga with three children who are all primary school aged. As a family, we enjoy getting outside and exploring the beautiful picnic and camping areas in North East Victoria, being part on our local community groups and getting out on Lake Mulwala in our boat.
Please say hello when you see me around and about, introduce yourself, or call into the office if you have any concerns or issues that I may be able to help you with.
I’m very much looking forward to becoming part of the Oxley community that I have heard so many wonderful things about.
Oxley Primary School has become an eSmart School. We have introduced many new policies and activities to improve the way our school manages cyber safety, bullying and cyber bullying. We feel confident our students, staff and the wider school community will be well supported to be smart, safe and responsible users of digital technology. We encourage everyone in the school community to promote cyber safety and well-being, at school and at home. If you are aware of any incidents of bullying, cyber bullying or risky behavior, please contact the Principal.
